WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP - click here for the latest ProgrammeWe are a group of ladies who meet to talk in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We enjoy a regular programme of presentations on a wide variety of subjects - see the link above. Our membership covers all ages and whilst we draw mainly from the congregations of the various local churches you do not need to be a member of any church to come along. We meet the second Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm in our cottage between the church and the antiques centre. Our subs for the year are £3 and then 50p each meeting for tea and biscuits! The money left at the end of the season goes to charities to which we agree. We are a very happy, friendly group. ALL ARE WELCOME TO JOIN. |

PASTORAL VISITING SCHEMEA number of members of our congregation form a team of visitors who are available to spend a little time with those in our community who need such support. At the moment, those who are visited tend to be elderly folk who, for a variety of reasons, can no longer attend church, but who value the link which the visiting team provides. We are also available to anyone, whether a member/former member of the church or not, who requests a visit. Home Communions are arranged on request, and in addition, four times a year we bring together, those who wish to take Communion in a group service. This is held in the small cottage adjacent to the church, and is followed by tea and home-made cakes, and is regarded as a highlight by many. Anyone wishing to arrange a visit should contact Mrs. Orena James on 016977 2636. |
